ImageColon Willoughby - Past Wake County DA

Wake County District Attorney C. Colon Willoughby, Jr. received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1973 at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his Master of Business Administration in 1975 at East Carolina University, and his Juris Doctor in 1979 at Campbell University. He worked for Cameron Brown as a loan administrator from 1975 - 1976, and was a member of the business faculty at Peace College from 1977 - 1983. He was a partner of Bass, Willoughby & Haywood from 1979 - 1986. He was appointed Acting District Attorney by Governor Hunt in 1983, and was elected District Attorney in 1986 - present.

His Civic Activities include Past Board of Governors of Summit House, Inc., Past Director of Artspace, Inc., former member of the Raleigh Rotary Club, member of the Raleigh YMCA, and served on the Board of Directors for NCLEAF
