Habitat for Humanity Wake County - July 15, 2017

Build taking place in the Crosstowne neighborhood, located off Cross Link and Garner Rd in South Raleigh. Habitat started building here in the spring of 2015, and will continue building homes into 2017! Our club was joined by five young men from Lake Waccamaw Boys & Girls home to assist in the build.
Every year Raleigh Rotary assists the city of Raleigh by planting trees. Whether it's by the Greenway or in a neighborhood, Rotary isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. In 2015 we planted over 80 trees in two hours!
Keeping our community clean is important and Raleigh Rotary jumps into a local stream clean-up every year! We always have a great turnout at this family affair.
The Dorothea Dix Park is one of our community's treasures. Raleigh Rotary was proud to be asked to assist with games and concessions at the inaugural Destination Dix fair.
Rotarians volunteer to help UNC-TV with their annual fundraiser. Rotarians come out to staff the phones and take donations during the annual telethon.
